It keeps going…and going…

I don’t know which would be a cooler picture.  This one, or the 220,000.  But I didn’t want to waste 0.1 miles worth of gas @ 3.18 a gallon just to snap a picture.  Ha ha!

Going to re-do the breaks this weekend and put on all new belts.  Then next month it’s new shocks and springs and  pretty much just odds and ends from there.  Just tryin’ fix things faster than they break!

  1. Isn’t it amazing how many miles a car can actually run!? The Dodge turned the 200,000 mark last time we came up to Manhattan. Just driving around town, for the most part, is what has kept mine down this far. I can’t imagine how high it would be if I had to drive back and forth to Dodge for a job every day!

  2. Yeah, there was a time I would have considered any car over 100,000 miles junk. But this car has shown me it has a lot to do with how well its taken care of.

Hopefully this one lasts long enough for me to get the El Camino fixed up and then I’ll just drive that! Of course gas might be $6.00 a gallon by then and I can’t afford it! =P

  3. Sadly, you aren’t too far off track. Isn’t it crazy how pricey it is!?
